Our Approach

We take a hands-on approach!  You will work directly with a carefully selected consultant.  The consultant will be familiar with your industry-the career paths, the language, the expectations.  That familiarity extends to paths internal to the industry and those external.  In addition your consultant has access to the expertise of the other consultants in The North 40 Guild.  Our expertise ranges across virtually all public and private organizations.

At each telephone meeting details of your exploration, research and writing which were assigned at the prior meeting are the focus.  We rely upon on our custom workbook for core concepts, detailed examples, unique inventories that uncover critical features about where you will encounter success.

Expect to work!  You will reflect about what your really want to do and how to balance your time, gather data, conduct interviews, role play interviews, create your introductory statement, get expert resume feedback and receive encouragement to persist in achieving your career goals.

The first step is for you to contact us at 510-523-6500 or at services@thenorth40network.com.  You will receive a half-hour complementary session to identify your goals, obtain baseline information about you and determine if additional inventories will add to the data needed for you to achieve your goals.  After the call your consultant will be matched with you and will make the first call to arrange times for the sessions.
